On My Amazon Wish List:
I swear all I'm doing with this blog is posting lists. Oh well. Here's books I might buy from Amazon once my loan check comes in:
Follies: New Stories - Ann Beattie
She is apparently a fantastic short story writer.
Everything I Know About Monsters - Tom Lichtenheld
Yes, it is a children's book. Its for my ... nieces...
Forty Stories - Anton Chekhov
Gettin' me some culture.
Saturday - Ian McEwan
Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro
Yeah, I don't know. It had a pretty cover.
The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous, & Broke - Suze Orman
... maybe I wouldn't need this if I didn't spend so much money on Amazon.
The Sacred Heart: An Atlas of the Body Seen Through Invasive Surgery - Max Aguilera-Hellweg
REALLY REALLY want this, but it is right now selling for $150.00, which is way too much.
The Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death - Corinne May Botz
Just looks cool. This lady made all these tiny dollhouse with scenes of murders (actually, unexplained deaths, maybe murders). They were used to train detectives in how to look for clues. Neat.
